A new 5.11 footwear line.
Five Eleven's footwear offerings consisted of only 3 footwear styles . In a period of 3 years I was able to design a distinct new catalog of 15 footwear styles with an unmistakable brand DNA creating a cohesive footwear line built for the most extreme survival conditions. Partnerships with brands such as D30 helped us inject technology creating the most advanced tactical boots on the market. Fifteen footwear styles were created for a complete re-design of the 5.11 footwear catalog. All styles were distributed worldwide with over 500k+ pairs sold and 60million in revenue.
Xpert Boot
No days off.
The Xpert boot aligns perfectly with the target user of the Five Eleven brand. Inspired by weapon rails, a pill pattern found on weapon rails radiates from a point above and forward of the boot, creating a dynamic sense of speed and motion. This boot is engineered to withstand even the toughest of situations.
The Xpert boot is used by military forces worldwide as a non standard issue boot. It was built to last with a 2.5mm Newbuck suede upper, Vibram outsoles, Nylon gusseted tongue, and Event water proof membrane. Various versions were made with different materialization and additional toe re-enforment Poly-Urethane toe cover.
ABR Trainer
Stay in the fight.
In the real world conditioning is critical to survival. Alongside Five Eleven's on Duty footwear, we created a specialized trainer that was light and breathable. An Abrasion resistant panel in the medial side was added crating a symmetrical design. It became a best seller and Men's Fitness Magazine featured it in August 2017.
HALCYON PATROL BOOT
Always on the move.
Hybrid boots are core to the new Five Eleven product line. The Halcyon boot breaches the line between a trainer and duty boot. Built like a runner with a 10mm drop on a 30mm eva midsole and a 2mm upper cow hide. Pictured was the "polishable toe" version for uniform spec. Other versions were built with a "toe guard" for additional wear resistance.
